Founded in 1948, Westview is an exclusive private country club. The Golf Course at Westview Country Club first opened for play in 1956. The course was designed by Mark Mahannah.
The championship golf course was re-designed and rebuilt by Kip Schultes in 2000. The course was sterilized, elevated, re-contoured, and re-routed with special attention and detail given to the green complexes and bunkering.
The course is surrounded by dense trees and vegetation insulating it from the city. The quiet beauty of the lakes and wildlife project the serenity of rural county parkland.
The Golf Course at Westview Country Club is a traditional par 72, 18 hole layout situated on 180 acres of land in the heart of Miami. From the tips, the course stretches to 6800 yards. With elevated greens, many dog legs and water holes, the golfer’s course management skills and shot making abilities are tested. With four sets of tees, the course is enjoyable to all levels of play.
The course has a large practice putting green adjacent to the first tee and there are two practice chipping greens and sand bunkers; one by the first tee and the other at the driving range. A full grass driving range is also on location.

The best greens in Florida. This is a course that I'll never tire of.

Fantastic course. Best hidden gem in South Florida. Greens are like putting on ice, truest roll I've ever seen.
